Alcyone was our Wauquiez Hood 38 Sailboat. She was built in France and imported to the Great Lakes in 1984. We purchased her on Lake Michigan in 1995, trucked her to Seattle and spent two years (and more money than we like to admit) outfitting her.
We left Seattle in June 1997 for a shakedown cruise and finally in August 1997 for our cruise down the Pacific Coast to Panama and then up the Altlantic Coast to Florida.
